Baby Mia Sabine
Ali had her baby which is one of the reasons I am back logged on the blogging. Mia was born Sunday morning, July 8. She was 8lb 12oz and 21 3/4 cm long and with a good head of hair! She is doing great and everytime I see her I swear she grew significantly. At 2 days old I was amazed at how much head movement she had and how much her eyes were open. She's definitely got Lizarraga in her because when she's hungry the whole world will know :) Nap time is my favorite time with Mia because she loves to cuddle and her little hands are always so sweetly placed around her face. SO CUTE! Side note for all new mommy's: After talking with Ali, a few other people and tons of reviews, the "My Brest Friend" beats the Boppy for breast feeding purposes.
Lets also give a welcome to the other babies in our lives (in order of appearance):
Hilary & Kyle had Blake Cameron on June 18
Ali & James had Mia Sabine on July 8
Kathyrn & Josh had Stella Mae on July 9
Amanda & Mat had Camryn RaeAnn on July 17
Carissa & JT had Chance on July 22
...Next up is the Mackey twins & Kenna Taylor!

Her first Great Grand baby! |
Andrew STP
Seattle to Portland all in ONE day! I am SO incredibly proud of Andrew, I knew he could do it, I just wasn't so sure how well he was going to hold it together. His total ride time was 11hrs 30min. Andrew has had lots of big moments lately. He got Mia to stop crying, installed built ins in the baby's closet, and was VERY patient while we picked out nursery furniture.
Nikki 25 AND 26 weeks
She's not moving very much, so when she does it's pretty exciting. I had an appt last week and she mentioned that I do have an anterior placenta (which is probaby why I don't feel her very much). Things have been so crazy lately I haven't even had time for pinterest! This weekend we were busy picking out nursery furniture. My Kidz World furniture store in Beaverton was a GREAT place, we are so happy we went there. We found a crib, dresser, hutch and a glider! They won't come for another month which is great news because it will take me at least that long to finish going through the upstairs rooms. The rest of the weekend was researching and checking out different products. Next up is finishing up the registry :)Last weekend while Andrew was doing his ride I was at the beach! We had our annual girls weekend (with the high school crew) and it was a blast as usual. Kate and Nikke flew in, Becca was in town, and everyone else was able to be there too. The girls are so sneaky! They surprised Nikke and I Saturday morning with a baby shower. We were so groggy it took us a while to understand what was going on haha. It was great to sleep next to Nikke and watch someone else experience leg cramps through the night :) I will post those pics next week. And don't worry girls, the pictures are on my computer I just need to send them out.

Weekly Updates:
Week 25: Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.Your baby’s spine is beginning to form its structures as the blood vessels of the lungs start developing. Some small blood vessels are starting to form beneath your baby’s skin. As these blood vessels begin to fill with blood, the baby’s skin will take on a pink appearance.
Your baby also has fully formed fingerprints, its bones continue to harden and its nostrils are starting to open.
Week 26: The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. She may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. She's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of her lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when she's born and takes that first gulp of air. And she's continuing to put on baby fat. She now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel.
Your baby’s eyes have completely formed and will open soon and she will begin to blink. Your baby will be able to distinguish between light and dark from inside your uterus.
Your baby’s oil and sweat glands are also functional. She can still respond to noise and has grown accustomed to the sounds of your heartbeat, digestion, and other bodily functions, as well as your voice. Your baby can even move in rhythm to music.
